Tales of the Forgotten Melodies est le premier album de Wax Tailor sorti en 2005. Il a été précédé par deux EP remarqués, dans lesquels on pouvait déjà noter une solide culture cinématographique et hip hop (Hypnosis Theme, Damn That Music Made My Day...). Cependant, on peut trouver toute une palette de styles dans cet album : downtempo, dub, trip hop, electro, abstract hip hop.
