Schismaderma carens, unique représentant du genre Schismaderma, est une espèce d'amphibien de la famille des Bufonidae.

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du sud-est de l'Afrique. Elle se rencontre :

• dans l'est de l'Angola ;
• au Botswana ;
• dans le sud de la République démocratique du Congo ;
• dans le sud du Kenya ;
• au Malawi ;
• au Mozambique ;
• dans l'est de la Bande de Caprivi en Namibie ;
• en Afrique du Sud ;
• au Swaziland ;
• en Tanzanie ;
• en Zambie ;
• au Zimbabwe.
