Michael Carrick, né le 28 juillet 1981 à Wallsend, est un footballeur international anglais qui évolue au poste de milieu de terrain à Manchester United.

Issu du centre de formation de West Ham United, Michael Carrick est prêté à Swindon Town en 1999 puis à Birmingham City en 2000. Il joue pour West Ham jusqu'en août 2004 en deuxième division anglaise après la relégation de l'équipe en 2003. Il est alors transféré à Tottenham Hotspur pour environ 4,5 millions d'euros.
En 2006, il rejoint Manchester United afin de remplacer Roy Keane, qui a quitté Manchester en janvier 2006.
