Mel Tormé est un chanteur, acteur, compositeur et producteur américain né le 13 septembre 1925 à Chicago, Illinois (États-Unis), décédé le 5 juin 1999 à Los Angeles (Californie). Il a coécrit, avec Bob Wells en 1944 "The chesnut song", Le feu danse dans la cheminée.
