James Henry Breasted (1865-1935) est un archéologue américain.
Il est l'une des plus grandes autorités en ce qui concerne l'Égypte antique. Professeur d'égyptologie à l'Université de Chicago, il a conduit des expéditions archéologiques en Égypte, en Mésopotamie, en Palestine, et en Perse.
