Albert Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire
Albert Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire est né le 2 décembre 1835 et décédé le 30 janvier 1919 à Dijon, est un zoologiste français.

Albert Louis est le fils d'Isidore Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire et le petit-fils d'Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire.
Fut le directeur du Jardin d'acclimatation situé dans le Bois de Boulogne à Paris de 1865 à 1893.
Il créa la société Le Gros Pin en 1881 à Hyères, dans le but de gérer des jardins d'acclimatation dont celui de Marseille et de Hyères. Cette société, dont les terrains jouxtaient le parc Olbius Riquier, était parmi les premières entreprises d'horticulture spécialisée dans la production et la commercialisation de palmiers, aux côtés de la société de l'acclimateur hyérois Charles Huber. Cette société a joué un rôle important dans l'acclimatation des palmiers et des acacia notamment[1].
Il était Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur[2].
